Wow. It was so nice and refreshing to be back on The Isle with Lilly, Ranger X, and the crew. I had no idea what to expect, when I got this ARC. Its been a while since I read the last installment, and I thought I might be a little out of the loop. But it was as if I just finished the previous book last week. That’s when you know you have a strong series. It just really drives home how memorable and strong Gina’s work really is.
Just when Lily thinks things have started to calm down, things rev up a hundred-fold. I love how she momentarily freaks out, but keeps her cool and keeps on moving ahead. She defiantly seems to be buried under stress and requests, and is on a pretty strict time frame. Over burdened by the amount of work she has in front of her, she still tries and helps those who need it. Her abilities as a mixologist continue to grow and expand, and there is no stopping her. Especially with her magical crew standing behind her.

I also have to mention that I LOVE the cover of this book. It is so simple, yet striking. Purple is my favorite color, and the purple on this cover is simply amazing. I cant wait to continue on this journey with Lily and the gang with the upcoming 8th instalment in this series, Mermaid Mimosa, coming out early this summer. I encourage you to start this series from the beginning and fall in love with the occupants of the Isle, and Gina Lamanna, like I did!
